Traveled with a music touring group from Dublin to Belfast then Wexford and back to Dublin, where we stayed a few days. Saw some highlights, met with the mayor of Belfast and some IRA members (who were camera shy) during the week of the Hamas attack in October. Our tour leader gave a concert in Wexford, introduced by the mayor at the cultural center. Walked around some rural sites like the Giant path (where I met some foreign students who study at Trinity College) and a castle ruin just 12 miles from Scotland. The locals were all very welcoming and Dublin was a wonderful, international city.
